Figure1.Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections) analysis of human  cerebrum  sections labelling SERPINI1 with purified PA00845HuA10 at 10ug/ml. Heat mediated antigen retrieval was performed using citrate buffer (pH 6.0).  Tissue was counterstained with Hematoxylin. Rabbit specific IHC polymer detection kit HRP/DAB secondary antibody was used at 1/4000 dilution. PBS instead of the primary antibody was used as the negative control.

背景信息：Neuroserpin is a member of the serpin family of serine protease inhibitors predominantly expressed in the nervous system, such as s the cerebral cortex, hippocampus and the spinal cord.Neuroserpin exerts protective effects in neurons against excitotoxicity both in vitro and in vivo. Its proteolytic inhibitory activity is shown to protect neurons against damage caused by plasmin activation. Mice overexpressing neuroserpin exhibited loss of tPA activity in the brain. Overexpression of neuroserpin in primary neurons leads to increased dendritic arborization and altered dendritic spine shape.
